Hair education: invest in better hair

Why boar bristles?

Boar bristle, naturally rich in keratin, is the only fiber capable of providing real benefits to the hair. Its unique fibrous structure captures and distributes the scalp's natural oils (sebum) from the roots to the ends, naturally nourishing and protecting the hair.

It also:
- Adds natural shine
- Helps reduce the frequency of shampoos within just a few weeks
- Smooths the hair and reduces frizz.

Not All Boar Brushes Are Equal

We use only 100% natural boar, unlike synthetic boar alternatives. We combine the first cut (root) and second cut mixed with the root, ensuring the highest level of brush performance.

Ancestral Know-How

Our manufacturer holds the Living Heritage Company designation - recognising it as one of the last manufacturers in the world still producing brushes entirely by hand, using techniques unchanged since the 19th century.

Frequently asked questions
Why this price for a hairbrush?
  • High-quality materials
  • Long-lasting (can last decades)
  • Reduces need for shampoos and haircare products

It is an investment that quickly pays for itself.

Why are some boar bristle brushes cheaper?

Lower-cost brushes often:

  • Use low-quality materials, such synthetic boar or neglect the careful selection of the proper cut
  • Lack sufficient stiffness
  • Cannot reach the scalp

As a result, they do not effectively distribute sebum and offer little to no benefit.

Can it be used on wet hair?

Wet hair is more fragile.

  • Avoid brushing on soaking wet hair
  • Detangle on towel-dried or dry hair.

Handmade. Unique. Yours.
